PGCB reports January sports betting revenue
The Pennsylvanian authority reported that local facilities totalled US$2.6 million in revenue last month.
US.- According to the latest report released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), which indicates the sports betting wagering revenue collected in January, facilities in the state totalled US$2.6 million in sports bets.
The report encompasses the full month returns from: Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Dauphin, SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia and Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, while it also features partial month returns from Parx Casino in Bucks County, Parx South Philadelphia Turf Club in Philadelphia and Harrah’s Philadelphia in Delaware County.
According to the report, total handle for January operations was US$32 million, while the state collected US$938k in taxes. The facility that achieved the largest handle was SugarHouse Casino (US$10.7 million), while the one with the biggest revenue was Parx Casino (US$1.1 million).
