Dr. Malte Siegle, Head of Sportradar’s University and Research Program, said: “It is our goal to support students’ development using our data to help contribute to their research and education. The new partnership will expand the Sportradar University Program. A key part of the organisation’s innovation arm, the program was established to support the next generation of students and universities within the data and technology space.

A total of 12 universities across eight different countries are currently part of the program, which includes a range of challenge events, hackathons and other similar opportunities where students are provided the chance to utilise and learn from the company’s state of the art data feeds and data visualisation services.

Students have already earned employment at Sportradar as winners of one of the Innovation Challenges, as another incentive of the program.
