Spintec expands its worldwide presence with new regulatory licences in UAE and Ontario
After a long and rigorous application process, Spintec has acquired two new gaming-related vendor licences in the United Arab Emirates and in Ontario, Canada.
Press release.- The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), an independent entity of the UAE Federal Government with exclusive jurisdiction to regulate, license, and supervise all commercial gaming activities in the United Arab Emirates, has awarded Spintec a federal gaming-related vendor licence. The licence grants Spintec the right to establish vendor relations with commercial gaming operators licensed by the GCGRA in the country.
This is excellent news for Spintec, which becomes one of the very first producers of electronic gaming machines to be included as a federal licence holder in the Emirates.
On the other side of the world, in Ontario, Canada, Spintec has also completed the application process for a gaming-related supplier licence with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). As a tightly regulated gaming market, Ontario promises great growth potential.
Goran Sovilj, Spintec’s chief commercial officer, says: “We cooperated with our partner Bet Rite in the licensing process in Ontario. We have invested a lot of effort into it, as it was extremely important for us. The newly acquired licence will enable us to solidify our partnership and further enhance our presence in North America. At the same time, the UAE licence opens up new opportunities for us in the Middle East, where we are among the first licensed vendors to enter the market. Both markets are incredibly important footholds for us.”
Spintec’s roulette currently holds the title of the most successful electronic roulette solution in Western Europe, Central Europe, Latin America and North America (according to the 2026 Eilers & Krejcik Gaming performance reports).
