South Korean casino opens in December
Jeju Shinhwa casino in South Korea is opening its doors next December 8, according to operators.
South Korea.- Jeje Shinhwa casino in South Korea has set the date to being its activities. As the operator of the upcoming gaming venue, Landing international Development Ltd, has stated in an official report, the expected casino will finally open its doors on December 8. The statement has not revealed further details on the project.
“The entire development of Jeju Shinhwa World is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, when the…Four Seasons Resort and Spa, and the…Hollywood-movies inspired outdoor theme park Lionsgate Movie World are scheduled to be ready for operation,” said the company’s release, which was published last week.
The statement added that by year-end the resort was likely to employ 2,100 people, and 5,000 by the time the destination was fully operational by the end of 2019. The facility also provides a wide range of modern amenities such as a clubhouse with a spacious lobby lounge, and a fully-equipped gymnasium, a restaurant offering international cuisine, as well as an indoor playroom and a large outdoor play area for children. It is expected that the casino will showcase more features to the public later this year.
Landing International Development currently operates another casino in Jeju Island. The casino in the Hyatt Regency ranked first on the list of the 2016 anti-money laundering assessment, which includes 17 of the country’s casinos, and is issued by the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit.
