US.- Sinclair Broadcasting has signed a deal with Bally’s Corporation to rename its sports channels after the brand.
Sinclair will rename all 21 of its sports networks after Bally’s casinos. The channels currently operate under the Fox Sports brand.
Bally’s will pay the broadcasting company $85m over a 10-year period for the deal giving them the naming rights.
The deal will give Bally’s access to fans of 45 US teams: 16 Major League Baseball teams, 17 National Basketball Association teams and 12 National Hockey League teams.
In October, Twin River Worldwide Holdings announced they had acquired the Bally’s brand from Caesars Entertainment and would rebrand a number of its properties under the name.
Twin River has completed several deals this year to expand in the US market.
