Shooting Star Casino is planning new venue in Minnesota

A community reunion was held in the Dent Center to discuss the construction of a Shooting Star Casino.

US.- A new Shooting Star Casino is in design phase in order to be developed in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Members of the local community and authorities gathered a week ago to discuss further benefits for the region. The construction could start around September of this year and be finished by 2017.

According to the released data, the new Shooting Star Casino will offer 750 slot machines and at least 10 table games. The casino architecture will fit the Star Lake town, in Otter Tail, differentiating from a Las Vegas-style complex. The general manager of the gaming brand, Bill Marsh, announced that plans are to respect the natural surroundings of the place. “We tried to blend the northwoods feel and not present ourselves as a Las Vegas-style casino. Our focus is on the resort-type living. That’s the type of the facility we are trying to design,” expressed Marsh.

The future complex will have a three-story hotel featuring a spa and indoor and outdoor pool spaces. Furthermore, customers will enjoy a fancy restaurant, a bar and grill, a gift shop and a full service casino buffet. Shooting Star Casino will build a kid area and a conference centre of 10,000 square feet size.

Casino operators are working on deals with the Lake Region Electric Corporative to improve the electricity service in Star Lake. The company also proposed some agreements with Arvig Communications to develop a better system for Wi-Fi supply.
