Senet Group transfers role to Betting & Gaming Council
BGC was formed by merging the Remote Gambling Association and the Association of British Bookmakers.
UK.- The Senet Group will transfer its responsibilities to the newly formed Betting & Gaming Council (BGC) from tomorrow (8 April).
The Senet Group, established in 2014, has been driving forward responsible gambling measures and initiatives, but will hand over duties to the BGC.
The Senet Group manages the MOSES retail self-exclusion campaign and oversees the ‘When The Fun Stops Stop’ campaign
The BGC was formed by merging the Remote Gambling Association and the Association of British Bookmakers.
“The collaborative ethos at the heart of the new Betting and Gaming Council now offers the opportunity to combine resources to deliver safer gambling initiatives at scale,” Gillian Wilmot, the Senet Chairman, said.
Brigid Simmonds, Chairman of the BGC, said: “The cross-industry collaborative approach pioneered by Senet became a blueprint which made the creation of the new Betting and Gaming Council possible.”
