Second Lake Havasu reveals new details

The upcoming Arizona casino revealed a possible opening date.

US.- The Chemehuevi Tribal Council, in charge of the upcoming Second Lake Havasu casino, announced that the facility should be finished by April 2018. The casino has an estimated cost between US$35 million and US$40 million.

Second Lake Havasu is set to be the second casino from the tribe, hence the name, and it will feature more than 300 gambling machines and 6 tables. The 25.000 sq ft facility will also offer a restaurant and marina that is almost completed. According to Havasu News, the new facility will be a quarter mile away from the original Havasu Landing Resort and Casino.

Bill Cox, the Tribal Planner, said that the project began construction after they received the approval from the Environmental Impact Report, and no issues were found to present a problem and stop the building process. Besides the environmental approval, the tribe received permits from both the San Bernardino County and the Army Corps of Engineers.
