Satellite casino to open in Cyprus airport
The building located inside the Larnaca airport is set to feature 50 slot machines.
Cyprus.- Cyprus has been trying to expand its gambling business in the last few years and is now growing its chances to do so as a new satellite casino is expected to open next year at Larnaca airport.
As Cyprus Mail reported, the casino is set to have 50 slot machines, to be located in a specific building inside the airport. Though no gaming tables will be offered to players, it will be open 24/7 with the same schedule as the airport. Sources said that while there is an agreement with the airport operator, it has not been signed yet.
This location will be the third temporary casino in Limassol, as one has been open since June 28th and another coming in Nicosia in the upcoming months. The facility located in Zakaki features 33 tables and 242 slot machines, a VIP gaming area and food and retail options.
