Santa Ana casino unveils sports book details
The casino will be the first to offer sports betting services in the state of New Mexico.
US.- Santa Ana Star Casino hotel is set to debut the sports betting market in New Mexico on October 16th. The facility said that the new sports book will be located in the middle of the casino with four betting stations available.
After the facility publicly confirmed that for the first time the state will be able to bet on sports, it said that its sports book will feature live wagering on professional and college sporting events, with the exception of the University of New Mexico and the New Mexico State University.
Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel Chief Executive Officer John Cirrincione said: “We are extremely proud of the fact that Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel is the first tribal casino in the state of New Mexico, and one of the first in the nation, to launch a sportsbook,”
Moreover, he said that although they believe that collegiate sports are very attractive on local terms, they consider it best not to take bets on those two universities.
