Sands Resorts Macao treats Japanese partners
The company is holding events in Japan to tighten bonds with business partners in the country, which drive tourists to Macanese venues.
Japan.- Japanese tourism has historically been one of the main drivers of the Macanese casino industry and Sands Resorts Macao knows exactly how important they are. That’s why the company has been holding events both in Tokyo and Osaka, to treat its Japanese business partners, which drive Japanese visitors to Sands, The Venetian and The Parisian.
The events have already turned into a classic “thank you” gesture from Sands, which has held them annually for several years. The guests are treated with dinner and drinks, entertained by costumed characters and showgirls or a series of videos highlighting the attractive features of the various Sands-related IRs and hotels. In addition, a lottery is arranged, in which the winner receives free stays in Macau.
Evelyn Kang, assistant vice-president of sales for Sands China and main speaker for the event in Osaka, told AGBrief: “Since Japan is such an important market for us, with the opening of The Venetian about ten years ago we opened our Tokyo regional office, so we really want to develop the Japan MICE market. By doing this we also share our new offerings to our customers.”
