New Mexico’s Sandia Resort to add sports bar
Sandia Resort & Casino has announced that it will go through a massive expansion that will add a sports bar to the facility.
US.- Sandia Resort & Casino is set to go through a 75,000-square-foot expansion that will add a sports bar to the facility. The renovations will include a new third-floor that will expand the casino’s high-limit gambling room.
As revealed by the Albuquerque Journal, the entire third floor of the expansion will feature a 25,000-square-foot sports bar and restaurant. It will also include indoor golf facilities and widescreen televisions.
Steve Osborn of Studio Southwest Architects, the firm behind the expansion, said the sports bar will be an exciting addition. He said the plans include a high-limit gambling room expansion, with a variety of slot machines.
Moreover, Osborn said that the second story of expansion will include shell space, half of it with mechanical equipment. While the plans are public, he did not specify the completion date of the expansion.

Last week, Isleta Resort & Casino announced its decision to accept bets on collegiate football and basketball games. The only condition is that they involve in-state teams, from the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University.
