The San Manuel Casino in southern California has launched phase 1 of its expansion project to turn into a casino resort and entertainment venue.
US.- San Manuel Casino has launched the first phase of its plans to expand into a major major tourism destination in southern California.
The casino’s general manager Peter Acero has unveiled two new floors of gaming space, three new bars, a 24-hour restaurant and three luxury retail shops.
The extra gaming floors add 1,500 new slots, making a total of more than 6,500, plus 400 new table games, a fifth high-limit room, three new shops and three new bars.
The new amenities are part of a three-stage expansion into a hotel resort. Phase 2 will add pools, a spa and more dining. A live entertainment venue will follow in phase 3. Phase 2 is expected to be complete by the end of the year, and phase 3 in 2022.
“We took a look at what we already had and wanted to create new spaces for our guests,” said Acero. “One thing we didn’t have was lounges.”
