Russia to launch three sports betting sites

The companies are hoping to launch their services before the year ends.

Russia.- Bingo Boom, BaltBet.ru and bkolimpbet.ru are the three companies that are hoping to launch their services before 2016 ends. The Eurasian country awarded its first online sports betting license to Liga Stavok in the first months of 2016.

Bingo Room officials said that they’re hoping to be running their services by December 31, whilst BaltBet.ru is expecting to be offering their services and be completely operational on December 29. The company has been offering a beta service of their site for quite some time now, and is optimistic that they can finally launch the full service in the next few days. On the other hand, bkolimpbet.ru hasn’t made an announcement yet, although several sources claim that the site will be operational this week as well. The three sites are connected to a payment processing system that’s operated by the Bookmakers Self-Regulatory Organization.

Back in October, Russia approved the fifth legal online sports betting site: Leon.Ru operates over 300 retail points of sale and under the Federal Tax Service License #20, which was issued to Leon’s previous corporate identity, Euromir. Leon follows Liga Stavok, 888.ru, Winline and 1xBet, the other four operators that are currently running their platforms in Russia. Leon belongs to Bookmakers SRO, whilst the other four belong to the First Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) of Russian Bookmakers.
