Royal Eagle opens less than a year after Grand Casino Tirana
The Royal Eagle Casino officially opened its doors to the public on Wednesday the 23rd of June 2021.
Press release.- Located in Albania’s capital Tirana, the casino is the 2nd to open in the city in less than a year and follows the opening of Grand Casino Tirana in August 2020.

The technology provided to Royal Eagle Casino by DRGT™ includes DRGT™s full multi-currency management systems across the property’s slots and tables games, inclusive of player tracking, the Company’s world-leading 8.8” multi-touch player interfaces, as well as its cash desk and cage solutions, and a number of its system-driven jackpots too.

Most of Albania’s sports-betting operations and casinos were closed down at the start of 2019 with the implementation of new gambling legislation, that broadly put, only allows gambling to take place at 5-star hotels and resorts outside of residential areas and specifically near or in tourist locales.
Located in Sheshi Italia, Tirana, Royal Eagle Casino opened at midday with just over 200 slots and 10 tables.
