Rivers Casino confirms opening date
The Schenectady facility will open its doors on February 8.
US.- Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady officials confirmed that they will be inaugurating the gaming venue on February 8. Rivers Casino & Resort will boost the regional tourism and entertainment industry with major events.
The 50.000 square feet facility will feature 1140 slot machines along with 67 gaming tables and 15 poker tables. Furthermore, it will be next to a 10.000 square feet banquet and a 165 room hotel. The casino is part of Rivers Casino & Resort at Mohawk Harbor, a project that offers 50 boat slips. Whilst one of the two hotels is already open, the other is set to start operations next month. Back in October, it was announced that the casino would be provided by JOINGO. The company will provide innovative technology to complete the casinos’ platform services featuring custom-built functionalities, such as marketing automation, a virtual in-app player’s club card, automated offer redemption acknowledgment, VIP event RSVP and more.
Furthermore, the New York casino that will also utilise Konami’s advanced gaming enterprise management system Synkros, in its 1158 slots and 65 gaming tables. Konami Gaming commented that they will offer a variety of its games including the Concerto video slot, and its Synkros system that supports customisation for multiple player.
The casino finished its gaming license payment back in April, when the company submitted US$50 million. Schenectady will receive US$2.5 million, and close counties will receive US$5 million.
