Resorts World Las Vegas’ opening on track
Resorts World Las Vegas, the US$4 billion Las Vegas Strip casino from Genting is on track to open at the end of 2020.
US.- The first integrated resort to debut in Las Vegas since 2010 is on track to open its doors in late 2020. A representative from Genting confirmed that Resorts World Las Vegas is on track and that it will open at the end of next year if there are no bumps in the next 12 months.
The US$4 billion casino will feature a 59-story, 3,400 room hotel and an Asian theme. It will be the first opening of an integrated resort since The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas opened its doors in December 2010. A representative of Genting talked to Las Vegas Review-Journal about the opening of the casino.
“[Resorts World] would be a tech-forward, innovative and inclusive resort … with a bold, fresh take on hospitality to the Las Vegas market with exciting new experiences, one-of-a-kind culture and seamless guest service,” said the representative from Genting.
There are approximately 1,500 construction workers on the site where the casino is located. The facility’s management team is headed by former MGM Grand President Scott Sibella, who hasn’t shared any changes since he started his position in April.
