Red Rock Resorts appoints J. Colby Williams as executive vice president and general counsel
Williams will succeed Jeffrey Welch, who will retire in December 2026.
US.- Red Rock Resorts has named J. Colby Williams as executive vice president and general counsel. He will succeed Jeffrey Welch, who will retire at the end of the year.
Williams is expected to join the organisation on or around September 8 and will oversee the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance matters. He is a founding partner of litigation boutique Campbell & Williams and was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers in March 2025.
Welch will continue to provide transition support through December 31, 2026. He has served as executive vice president and chief legal officer of Red Rock Resorts since June 2017, and previously served on the board of directors of Station Holdco from 2013 to 2016.

Red Rock Resorts reported net revenue of US$507.3m in the first quarter of the year. That’s an increase of 1.9 per cent in year-on-year terms. Net income was US$82.7m, down 3.8 per cent year-on-year, while adjusted EBITDA was US$212.6m, down 1.2 per cent in year-on-year terms.
Las Vegas operations generated net revenue of US$499.5m, up 0.9 per cent, with adjusted EBITDA of $232.4m.
