Record nine Kambi-powered operators ranked inside Power 50
Respected league table of industry’s most influential operators shows increasing number choosing the Kambi Sportsbook and managed services.
UK.- The world’s most influential online operators are increasingly turning to the Kambi Sportsbook torealise their sports betting ambitions, according to the latest league table of operators compiled by respected industry publication EGR Intel.
Published this morning, the annual Power 50 Rankings, produced in cooperation with professional services heavyweight BDO, grades operators using various key criteria including financial performance, international reach, strategy and market leadership.
This year’s Power 50 list featured a record nine Kambi customers, up from six in 2017, all of which secured spots inside the top 40: Kindred Group, 888, LeoVegas, Rank Group, Mr Green, DraftKings, Paf, Casumo and Global Gaming.
Three of those operators, Kindred Group, 888 and LeoVegas, made the elite top 10, each having improved on last year’s position, boosted by another year of sports betting revenue growth through their core brands.
DraftKings, ranked in 29th place, makes its debut on the prestigious list, having proven dominant in New Jersey following the launch of its Kambi-powered sportsbook in August.
In addition, Corredor Empresarial, which operates the Kambi-powered BetPlay sportsbook inColombia, featured in EGR’s ‘Ones to Watch’ list, having enjoyed a successful first year in operation, during which time it claimed a leading position in the market.
Kambi’s haul of nine operators is significantly more than any other end-to-end sportsbook supplier, strengthening Kambi’s position as the number one choice for tier one operators. The rankings also reflect a growing trend for elite operators to choose high-quality third-party sportsbook solutions.
Max Meltzer, Kambi Chief Commercial Officer, commented: “This year’s Power 50 Rankings is another illustration of the calibre of organisations choosing to work with Kambi and the financial transformation we bring through our high-quality Sportsbook and managed services.
“To have nine operators inside the top 40, including three in the top 10, is testament to the strength of our Sportsbook and services against other heavily-backed B2Cs, and is in line with us being able to provide scalable, unique and localised customer experiences for each operator.
“I congratulate all those that made this year’s Power 50 and I’m confident we’ll see even more Kambi-powered operators in the rankings next year.”
The Power 50 rankings caps off what has been an historic year for Kambi, with the premium sports betting supplier having signed eight new customers, processed the first legal online wager in the US post-PASPA, and posted record revenues for the nine months through September.
