Primorye expects new projects
The deadline to bid for casino plots was postponed in the Russian casino zone of Primorye.
Russia.- As Monday marked the end of the deadline to present casino projects in Primorye, the Primorsky Krai Development Corp has extended the time limit to September 28. Bidders will have one more month to prepare their proposals and the governmental firm also expects to “attract new investors.”
Bidders would compete in three independent auctions for land earmarked at Primorye Integrated Entertainment Zone (IEZ), a casino development area. “The need to postpone the auction is based on requests from investment companies that showed interest in implementing their projects,” stated the Primorye IEZ, as quoted by GGRAsia.
International and local casino operators are allegedly interested in further developing the Russian gaming zone of Primorye. Primorsky Krai Development Corp revealed the firm had received enquiries about at least two plots where the companies would construct new gaming attractions.
“We held on-site activities to demonstrate the potential of the lands,” added the Primorsky Krai Development Corp. Meanwhile, the Russian Primorye touristic region would be in charge of Federal Government soon, as legislators are drafting the new bill to switch the administrations. Local government currently controls the Russian area, but the federal administration decided to take over the office in order to speed up the casino plans.
