Pow Gaming was selected to participate in PitchICE!
The startup will present its esports platform at ICE London, a fair that will take place from April 12 to 14.
Press release.- Pow Gaming has been selected to participate in PitchICE 2022. Within this program, which will take place inside the framework of ICE London, the startup will have the opportunity to introduce its e-sports platform to the industry.
From April 12 to 14, the company will have a stand within the PitchICE space. And it will be in this framework of first recognition that Pow Gaming will launch its current content proposal for casinos.
Founded by gaming industry professionals Fernando Rivas and Dario Gimenez together with Gonzalo Tiesi and Juan Martin Hernandez, role models in the sport industry, Pow developed an esports platform where players compete in tournaments for real money prices in 100 per cent skill-based games.
The platform has several social and competitive features: tournaments, unlockable achievement systems, boosters and a soft coin that allows internal platform transactions, without affecting financial aspects for the operator.
Pow Gaming’s proposal attempts to channel operator’s efforts to attract a younger audience to online gambling sites because, due to the large number and quality of entertainment offers available, they do not seem attracted to classic casino games.
On the other hand, the platform offers a business model where profit comes from a commission gained on the accumulating jackpot that players compete for in the games and tournaments.
“The gambling market needs to look for concrete ways to innovate in order not to lose audiences. We are part of the entertainment industry, something that is constantly evolving. We have to offer up-to-date content so that players want to continue spending their free time with us,” said Fernando Rivas.
