Plainridge Park Casino takes in US$13.5 million in May
According to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, Plainridge Park Casino, the state’s sole slots parlor, saw US$13.5 million in gambling revenue last month.
US.- Plainridge Park Casino, took in US$13.5 million in the month of May, according to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. The facility located in Plainville, first opened at the end of June 2015 and features 1,250 slot machines.
The gross slots revenue figure is increased from April but is slightly less than what the slots parlor posted in March. Plainridge took in US$13.49 million in March, US$13.3 million in April and US$13.48 million in May.
Plainridge Park Casino is located 35 miles southwest of Boston, close to the Massachusetts-Rhode Island border, competing with Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Its opening represented Massachusetts’ entry into expanded gambling, with resort casinos planned in the near future.
