The gaming regulator from Pennsylvania revealed that two hearings will be held on December 4 and 5.

US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has announced that it will hold two public input hearings on December 4 and 5 in the social room of the Big Beaver Borough Fire Station #14 and the Hempfield Township Municipal Building respectively.

The hearing that will take place on December 4 in Big Beaver Borough will collect testimony on the Category 4 casino application submitted by Mount Airy #1 and the other will take place the following day in Hempfield Township for the application submitted by Stadium Casino, LLC.

The purpose of the hearing, that per provisions of the Gaming Act must be held within the local municipality in which the proposed casino would be located, is to both provide a forum for individuals to voice their support or opposition to the proposed casino and to permit those persons with an interest in the applicant’s proposal to learn more about the project.

The Board also announced that it has begun accepting requests from citizens, public officials and community groups who wish to provide oral or written testimony regarding the proposed casino. Those wishing to present testimony at the public input hearing must register prior to the hearing by visiting the Board’s website. The deadline for registration to speak is December 3, 2018.
