Per Jaldung named managing director of Casinos Austria International
The former Casino Cosmopol CEO will continue to lead the group’s Brussels casino.
Austria.- The veteran casino executive Per Jaldung has been named as the managing director of Casinos Austria International. He will continue to serve as CEO of Grand Casino Brussels Viage in parallel with his new role.
Jaldung spent 14-and-a-half years as CEO of Svenka Spel’s Casino Cosmopol brand, holding the position until March 2023. He became CEO of Grand Casino Brussels Viage in December of the same year.
Before entering the gambling sector, Jaldung was a police officer in Stockholm and served in Sweden’s National Criminal Investigation Department. He joined the recently closed Casino Cosmopol Stockholm in 2002 as security manager and later became general manager of Casino Cosmopol Gothenburg.
He also served as chairman of the European Casino Association between 2015 and 2023 and is now honorary president of the organization.

He credited the team at Grand Casino Brussels Viage for enabling him to manage both roles: “Thanks to the dedication and talent of our Brussels staff, I’m confident in maintaining my responsibilities there.”
As well as the Belgian casino, Casino Austria International’s operations include The Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns, Casinò Lugano in Switzerland and Casino Semiramis in Cairo, Egypt. It also runs the National Videolottery of the Republic of Macedonia.
