Pennsylvania gaming revenue rises in April

Revenue increased 6.5 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported that the combined revenue generated by gaming and fantasy contests in April was $595m. That’s an increase of 6.5 per cent year-over-year. Tax revenue was $255.3m.

According to the regulator’s report, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the market with $109m in revenue, up 11.6 per cent year-over-year. Valley Forge Casino Resort reported $105.8m, an increase of 6.8 per cent, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $60m, up 6.8 per cent. Parx Casino registered $57.1m, an increase of 5.4 per cent, and Wind Creek Bethlehem $44.9m, down 6 per cent.

Retail slot revenue totalled $206.7m, up 1.8 per cent year-over-year. The number of slot machines in operation was 24,856 compared to 24,363 in the same month in 2025. Retail table games revenue was $78.7m, down 2.4 per cent. Slots generated $105.1m in tax revenue and table games $13.3m.

Online gaming generated $245.8m in revenue, up 7.9 per cent from April 2025. Online slots generated $195.2m, online table games $48m and online poker $2.6m. Tax revenue was $113.5m.

The sports betting handle totalled $641.6m, down 9.8 per cent year-over-year. Taxable revenue was $59m, up 38.6 per cent from April 2025.
