Pennsylvania casinos see record $403m revenue in March
Pennsylvania casinos set a new state record in March with $403m in monthly gross gaming revenue.
US.- Pennsylvania has set a new state record for monthly gross gaming revenue, generating $403m in March.
The figure marks an increase of 161 per cent against March 2020, when venues closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and 27 per cent from the $316.2m generated in March 2019.
Philadelphia’s casinos are now open at full capacity. Brick-and-mortar slot machines generated more than $199.2m while table games generated $71.3m.
The state is planning four additional satellite casinos, two of them from Penn National Gaming. Each satellite casino will be permitted to house up to 750 slot machines and 30 table games.
