Penn National announces new CFO
Penn National’s former CFO David Williams officially stepped down on December 31, making way for Felicia Hendrix.
US.- Casino operator Penn National Gaming has announced that its former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer David Williams has officially resigned.
Williams will be replaced by Felicia Hendrix who will enter the company on March 2, providing certain regulatory approvals are made.
Until Hendrix assumes her new role, Williams has agreed to stay in a temporary advisory role in order to ensure a smooth transition.
Hendrix’s previous role was a Managing Director and Equity Research Analyst at Barclays. Throughout her career she has gained vast experience in the gaming, lodging and leisure industries.
She will see the company through its new deal to acquire Hollywood Casino Perryville in Maryland, ahead of the state’s anticipated legalisation of sports betting.
In a statement, Williams said: “To say my relatively brief tenure at Penn National was a roller coaster ride would be an understatement.
“While I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the incredible team at Penn, the challenges of continuing to work remotely from the West Coast and the potential strain of a relocation of my family during the ongoing pandemic has led me to this difficult decision.”
