PayPal adds Gamban gambling block tool

Gamban and PayPal have entered into a partnership to allow customers in the US and UK to block gambling transactions on the platform.

UK.- The UK-based gambling block provider Gamban has entered an agreement with PayPal to offer US and UK users a method to block gambling payments via the payment platform.

The companies said that PayPal was a common method of payment for gamblers both online and offline, be it via machines or sports betting.

Gamban said: “PayPal offering its users the option to block gambling transactions is a welcome addition to the gambling recovery toolkit.

It marks a further expansion for Gamban, which has broadened the reach of its beyond traditional gambling to cover crypto and currency trading and has expanded beyond the UK to Norway and the US, where it’s partnered with Pinnacle, FanDuel and the Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia.
