Parx Casino and GAN confirm sports betting deal
The companies will operate sports betting services once Pennsylvania opens the market.
US.- The legalisation of sports betting in the United States has mobilised the gaming industry, creating multiple deals between casinos and online gaming companies. GAN, the British-based supplier, and Parx Casino have confirmed that they will launch sports betting services in Pennsylvania once the state comes up with a firm regulation.
Earlier this month it was reported that Parx Casino filed a petition with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board confirming the intention to launch online gaming in the state with GAN as the enterprise software platform provider. The multi-year partnership extension includes delivery of sports betting in both retail and online channels for Pennsylvania’s largest casino, a material increase in revenue opportunity.
“Following the execution of this extension and amendment, GAN now offers clients a platform equipped with multiple options for integrated sports betting to be launched seamlessly alongside GAN’s market-leading Internet casino product,” said GAN chief commercial officer Jeff Berman. “We welcome the opportunity to deliver sports betting in the retail channel, as well as online, through GAN’s unique platform containing patented technology.”
