Paradise Entertainment posts profit during 2018
Casino operator Paradise Entertainment posted profit last year, powered by a revenue increase and improved sales of electronic gaming equipment.
China.- Paradise Entertainment revealed its financial results for 2018 and reported profit for last year. Its figures were driven by an increase in revenue from casino management services at its Kam Pek Paradise casino and improved sales of electronic gaming equipment.
Profit was €6 million for the group, compared to the €5.3 million loss for the previous year. Furthermore, reported revenue increased 15.1% to €130.8 million while its casino services division’s revenue rose to €938 million, from €862 million, while electronic gaming sales surged to €78 million from €20 million the prior year.
“Casino operators’ universal quest for more seats, fewer tables, lower minimum bets and higher yields translates into a future need for solutions that could help them achieve higher efficiency and to optimise their table yields,” Paradise Entertainment said.
“Aside from LMG machines, several of our new slot games are now fully tested and are soon ready to debut in the market. The group strengthened our sales and marketing teams targeting casino operators in Macau, South East Asia and North America,” it said.
