Paradise Co sees revenue increase in March

South Korean foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Co saw a 33.9 per cent revenue increase during March.

South Korea.- Paradise Co Ltd, the Korean foreigner-only casino operator revealed its March results and reported casino revenue 33.9 per cent higher year-on-year. In a Tuesday filing to the Korea Exchange, the company reported revenue of €40.1 million, compared to last year’s €30 million.

The company’s table revenue was 35.1 per cent higher than last year’s as it reached €37.5 million, while machine revenue also jumped by 18.9 per cent to €2.6 million.

During the first quarter, aggregate casino revenue was up 19.9 per cent from Q1 of 2017 to €115 million. Table revenue was up 19.3 per cent to €106 million, while machine revenue jumped 26.8 per cent to about €8.3 million.

Meanwhile, table drop (which represents the amount of cash exchanged for chips by customers at the table) rose 20 per cent during the first quarter of 2018 to just over €1.04 billion.

All figures come from the contribution of all four venues owned by Paradise Co: Walkerhill (Seoul), Jeju Grand (Jeju Island), Busan Casino (Busan) and Paradise City (Incheon).
