Paradise Co experienced growth in November
South Korea’s casino operator announced its financial results for November.
South Korea.- Paradise Co Ltd, operator of four venues in the Asian country, announced that its sales rose 7.2 percent year-on-year during last November. During a filling to the Korea Exchange the operator said that the results are based on all its foreigner-only casinos.
Paradise Co’s four casinos, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Incheon Casino at Incheon, Busan Casino in South Busan, and Walkerhill in Seoul experienced sales of US$46.1 million, up from the US$43 million registered during the same period in 2015. Compared to October 2016, casino sales fell 0.3 percent.
The operator also reported a year-on-year 10.2 percent growth in table games sales in November, to US$43.8 million, whilst machine game sales fell almost 31 percent to US$2.16 million. The company is currently building a fifth foreigner-only casino in Incheon called Paradise City, a joint venture with Sega Sammy Holdings Inc, and is expected to be open in April 2017.
