Paddy Power extends Greyhound services

The Bookmakers Afternoon Greyhound Service has been signed up by Paddy Power in order to extend its services.

UK.- Paddy Power has signed up to the Bookmakers Afternoon Greyhound Service (BAGS) to strengthen its service offering across its land-based network. BAGS greyhound fixtures will now be broadcast on the Paddy Power in-house television channel across the bookmaker’s 631 shops.

The Racing Partnership compiled its greyhound fixture list in collaboration with BAGS, and covers over 12 greyhound tracks in the UK.

Paddy Power Betfair’s managing director for retail, David Newton, said: “Paddy Power is delighted to have entered into this agreement to ensure that customers have access to a broader range of quality greyhound racing content.”

Mark Kingston, director of The Racing Partnership, added: “We are delighted that Paddy Power has joined other betting shop operators in being able to show BAGS greyhound fixtures on their channels.

He also explained that the BAGS schedule “comprises over 1,600 fixtures per year from well-known tracks with a proven record of integrity and welfare” and highlighted: “This is a further vindication of the value of the BAGS brand and all it stands for.”
