Paddy Power Betfair announces senior appointments

Paddy Power Betfair has named Dan Taylor as chief executive of Europe and Barni Evans as chief executive of Sportsbet in Australia.

UK.- Taylor will assume the newly created role of chief executive of Europe, taking responsibility for Paddy Power and Betfair brands in all areas outside of the US.

Prior to his appointment, Taylor was managing director of the Group’s UK and Ireland operations and also served as managing director of Paddy Power Retail.

Evans, who was chief commercial officer at Sportsbet, will take over as chief executive replacing Cormac Barry, who has opted to leave the company.

Sportsbet serves as Paddy Power Betfair main operations in Australia.

Earlier this week, Peter Jackon assume the role of chief executive replacing Breon Corcoran.
