Oulala aims at Latin America

The European daily fantasy sports operator Oulala revealed its plans to target football clubs in Latin America.

Argentina.- Oulala, the daily fantasy sports (DFS) company, has revealed that they’re currently trying to reach Latin American football teams, starting with Argentina. To capitalise DFS’ current success, the European start-up will introduce its game to another and completely different part of the world.

Some of the Argentinian football clubs being introduced to Oulala will be Boca Juniors, Club Atletico Independiente, Racing Club, San Lorenzo de Almagro, River Plate and Rosario Central.

Sebastián Pino, an Argentinian entrepreneur, said that whilst fantasy sports are unregulated in the country, Argentina has a big fantasy sports fanbase. “An estimated 90% of Argentinians consider themselves fans of a football club, making it a hotspot for DFS,” he added. Pino will assist Oulala when the company lands in the country.

Valery Bollier, CEO of Oulala, said: “’LATAM markets are incredibly competitive, with very few operators, so I think that our interactive platform with live in-play features is a perfect alternative for Daily Fantasy Football fans.”
