Oklahoma casinos close due to snow storm
Nine casinos in Oklahoma have been forced to close to conserve power supply across the state during a snow storm.
USA.- Nine Oklahoma casinos have been forced to close to help conserve the state’s power supply during a severe ice and snow storm that is currently affecting both Texas and Oklahoma.
The decision comes after The Southwest Power Pool, which provides energy to 13 states in the region, warned it was running low on energy on Monday.
The Cherokee Tribe has announced then that it will close all nine properties, including the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa until 1pm on Wednesday.
The closure could be extended if weather conditions do not improve.
