Okada Manila registers GGR increase
The gaming company scored a 73% increase in gaming gross revenue during February’s operations.
Philippines.- Universal Entertainment Corp revealed this week that Okada Manila reported gross gaming revenue (GGR) of €37.5 million in February, which represents a 73% increase when compared to the same period in 2018.
The latest figures unveiled by the company show that accumulated GGR for the first two months of the year stands at €104 million, which is more than double when compared to the €50.2 million registered a year before. Moreover, GGR at the Philippine casino increased by 134% year-on-year to €64.2 million, a record high according to the company’s information.
“This was expected… and volumes in VIP rolling, mass table drop and gaming machine handle recovered for the latter half of the month,” said Universal Ent in a Wednesday filing.
Furthermore, February’s GGR figures include VIP revenue of €11.6 million, up from the €6.5 million in the same period in 2018. On the other hand, BIP revenue for February 2019 was down approximately 58% from January.
