Ohio casinos and racinos enjoy best August on record
Revenues for this August amounted to $172.1 million, higher than any previous records for the same month.
US.- The state of Ohio saw the best August on record for gambling revenues.
Casinos and racinos in the state took in $172.1m. That’s less revenue than in July ($181m) but 5 per cent above the figure seen in August 2019 and the highest August figure on record.
Hollywood Casino Toledo raked in the highest at $22.9 million. Hollywood Columbus followed with $19 million, then Jack Cleveland with $18.2 million and Hard Rock Cincinnati with $17.2 million.
Ohio is to see gambling expansion in the state. It passed a bill back in May to pave the way for legal sports betting.
