Two top executives depart Ocean Resort Casino
The executives were let go this week as part of what seems to be a restructuring process after a change in ownership.
US.- Ocean Resort Casino’s former CEO Frank Leone and Alan Greenstein, now ex-chief financial officer, were let go from the company on Monday in what is expected to be a full restructuring process for the facility that recently changed ownership.
The contracts with the former CEO and CFO were terminated less than a month after Luxor Capital Group took the reigns of the facility from Colorado-based developer Bruce Deifik, Press of Atlantic City reported. The facility has showed weak financial signs despite several attempts to make it competitive.
Eric Matejevich, former chief operating officer of the closed Atlantic Club Casino Hotel is set to succeed Leone on an interim basis, while Terry Glebocki, who was corporate CFO of Tropicana Atlantic City, will replace Greenstein.
“As we move forward with enhancements to the guest and player experience — including substantial increases in our entertainment programming and player events throughout the year, adding a world-class buffet, additional suites and rooms, incremental investments on the casino floor and other exciting projects — Terry and Eric’s expertise will be invaluable in continuing our momentum,” said the company in a statement.
