Ocean Resort casino approved to offer online gaming
The Division of Gaming Enforcement has cleared the Ocean Resort casino to begin operating online.
US.- The iGaming market continues to expand in New Jersey after the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) approved Ocean Resort casino’s website. The regulatory body gave the final nod for the operator to begin its online gambling business after completing the testing process and evaluating its systems.
“Internet casino players are known to be largely a new customer demographic when compared against typical casino patrons who frequent Atlantic City, skewing younger and more gender-neutral versus the typical 50-years-plus gambling enthusiast found inside a typical casino,” said GAN (Ocean Resort’s platform partner for internet gambling) CEO Dermot Smurfit.
www.oceanonlinecasino.com has become New Jersey’s 27th legal internet gambling site since the segment was authorised in the state back in 2013. The operator is one of seven casino licensees which are allowed to exploit internet wagering alongside Borgata, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, Resorts and Tropicana, and Caesars Interactive-NJ.
