Nugget Casino begins renovation
The Northern Nevada facility announced that it will go through a US$25 million renovation.
US.- Nugget Casino Resort announced the next plan for the casino located in Northern Nevada. The casino said that they’re planning to invest US$25 million in revamping both the property’s towers and in its convention centre.
Anthony Marnell III, owner of Marnell Gaming, said that in the last few months they have made several improvements and that the next steps are significant upgrades to the west tower hotel rooms and the entire convention center. The casino currently features 1000 slot machines and they will be relocated in an improved casino as well. The company expects the first phase to be completed in late March, whilst the second phase is scheduled to end in late June. “The people of Northern Nevada have always supported the Nugget and we intend to make this a property the community can be proud of now and for years to come,” added Marnell III.
Back in May, the company announced that Marnell Gaming finished the purchase of the facility. “This is a long-term investment opportunity for us. The Nugget is an iconic property in a great location and we hope to be here for many years,” said Marnell III.
