Seneca Gaming Corporation has announced it will require all visitors and team members to wear masks regardless of their Covid-19 vaccination status.

US.- Seneca Gaming Corporation has announced that masks will be required at Seneca casinos and entertainment venues in New York state, regardless of vaccination status. The casinos operated on behalf of the Seneca Nation of Indians are the Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, Buffalo Creek Casino in Buffalo, and Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca.

The updated safety and security measures will be applicable to all guests and team members.

Seneca Gaming president & CEO Kevin Nephew said: “Our highest priority remains the health, safety, and enjoyment of our guests and our team members. While we have maintained a strict adherence to Covid-related protocols at our three properties, the recent trends throughout Western New York are concerning.

All three Seneca Gaming properties have followed enhanced safety measures, including controlled capacity, physical distancing protocols and increased sanitation procedures for the past 18 months.

Last week, casinos in Detroit reintroduced mask mandates for all visitors, regardless of Covid-19 vaccination status. The requirement is to comply with the Face Mask Advisory, which was issued on November 19 by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
