New Soboba Casino to open in 2018

The replacement for the former Southern California casino will open its doors next year.

US.- The Soboba Band Of Luiseno Indians announced that the replacement of the Soboba Casino will be open by the summer of 2018. The federally recognised tribe opened the gambling facility back in 1995.

The 84.000 square feet facility will feature more than 2000 slots and approximately 25 faming tables. The venue will also offer a 200-room hotel as well as a 15.000 square feet conference center, food outlets, a sports bar and a spa and fitness center among other things. A statement from the tribe said that the improved facility promises to capitalise on what the tribe already has by adding more amenities such as a hotel, shops and an entertainment venue. “This will not only bring more visitors to the beautiful San Jacinto Valley but will create hundreds of jobs for locals and provide a huge economic boost for the area.”

General Manager for the Soboba Casino Scott Sorois said: “We have assembled a high-performance team who will move this project forward and has the type of momentum to get it pushed through to completion. Long after all of us are gone, your legacy will go on.” San Jacinto’s mayor Scott Miller agreed and said that the center would become the diamond of the valley, “a place to enjoy, refresh and relax.”
