New Orleans casinos posted revenue of $52.1m in July, up 46 per cent year-on-year.

US.- New Orleans casinos together reported revenue of $52.1m last month, up 46 per cent year-on-year since venues were restricted to 50 per cent capacity in July 2020.

Harrah’s nearly doubled its July 2020 revenue, with a 98 per cent increase from $13m to $25.7m. It was followed by Boomtown (up 10 per cent to $11m), Fair Grounds (up 25.2 per cent to $3.9m) and Treasure Chest (up 14.2 per cent to $8m). Amelia Belle was last with $3.5m but second in terms of growth, with revenue up 34.2 per cent.

Statewide, revenue from all casinos, racinos and riverboat venues in Louisiana totalled $222m in July, up about 25 per cent year-on-year, according to the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
