New Jersey’s igaming revenue tops $100m

January’s igaming figures in New Jersey topped the previous record set in December 2020.

US.- New Jersey’s online gambling revenue has topped $100m for the first time according to figures released by the state’s regulator.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reported that online casino and poker operators in the state brought in just under $103.8m in January.

The figure represents an 84 per cent increase on January 2020 while also surpassing the previous record set in December 2020 by $4m.

Golden Nugget Online Gaming saw the most revenue at $31.2m, followed by Borgata casino’s sites (including BetMGM) at $28.7m and Resorts Digital Gaming’s sites at $22.8m.

Online gambling and sports betting enabled Atlantic City casinos to record an increase in revenues in January. Total revenues reached $295.7m, up 9.3 per cent compared to January 2020.
