New Hampshire registers record sports betting handle of nearly $100m
With a sports betting handle of $98.19m for October, the state breaks its previous record by 44.1 per cent.
US.- With only one sportsbook operator in the state, DraftKings Sportsbook, New Hampshire has registered a record sports betting handle of $98.19m for the month of October. That’s 44.1 per cent more than the state’s previous record, set in September 2021 ($68.1m) and 108 per cent higher than October 2020 ($47.05m)
DraftKings Sportsbook agreed to give the state 51 per cent of sports betting revenue if it was the sole operator. In addition to mobile sports betting, DraftKings has three retail sportsbooks in the following New Hampshire cities: Seabrook, Manchester and Dover.
When talking about mobile sports betting, the state also hit a handle record, reaching $68.12m, a 35 per cent increase from September’s $50.46 and up 69.4 per cent from October 2020 ($40.22m).
Record figures doesn’t stop there: gross gaming revenue was $5.4m, up 22.4 per cent from September’s $4.42m and 28.7 per cent higher than October’s 2020’s $4.20m. Previous GGR record had been set in November 2020 ($4.77m).
