New Bath casino to open in 2018
The developers confirmed that the Sawclose casino will open its doors in the spring of next year.
UK.- The £19 million project has revealed details of its venue, and the developers also announced that the final casino will open its doors to the public sometime in spring of 2018. Even though they’re still working on it, they’re six weeks behind schedule.
The entertainment venue will feature an art casino with bars and restaurants, along with a 147 bedroom hotel. A spokesman of the company said: “We will be finished all our building work by August this year, when all the tenants will move in and start the interior fitting, ready for a spring 2018 opening.” According to Bath Chronicle, the casino will be run by Global Gaming Ventures, the company that will open UK’s third largest casino in Leeds this month.
The spokesman also said that they believe that the six week delay is understandable for a big project on a historic, sensitive site like the one where it’s being built. “It’s going really well and is starting to take shape now, you can really see the progress,” he commented.
