Nevada sports betting revenue tops $20m in January
January sports betting numbers represent at 36% year on year increase
US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board has reported that sports betting revenues in the state rose 36% year on year to US$20.2million in January.
The regulator said that players spent a total of US$502.5 million during the month, up 1.1% year-on-year but down slightly on the US$571.2 posted in December.
January was the first month that mobile sports betting revenues were reported with the vertical contributing US$11.2 million to the total figure.
Statewide casino gaming revenue was up 5.5% YoY in January to a total of US$1.04 billion, but was also down on the US$1.06 billion recorded the previous month.
