Nevada gaming revenue rises in May

Revenue increased 7.4 per cent year-on-year.

US.- The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported that the state’s casinos generated $1.4bn in revenue in May. That’s a rise of 7.4 per cent from the same month in 2025 and up from $1.3bn in April 2026.

Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas Strip, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip, and surrounding areas, generated $1.2bn, an increase of 7.4 per cent from the same month in 2025. The Las Vegas Strip generated $807.9m, up 13.2 per cent.

Washoe County, which includes casinos in Reno, Sparks, and North Lake Tahoe, generated $98.2m, up 8.3 per cent, South Lake Tahoe $16.7m, up 23.5 per cent, Elko County $37.6m, up 4.5 per cent and Carson Valley Area $12.5m, down 2 per cent.

NGCB reported that the state collected $89.5m in percentage fees, up 19 per cent compared to the same month in 2025.
