US.- NASCAR has entered a multi-year partnership with the sports betting and iGaming platform BetMGM.
The partnership aims to improve the experience of those betting on car races in the US by providing more wagering choices, such as in-race and pre-race options.
It will also give BetMGM rights to NASCAR marks, which will be used to promote their events and offerings across a range of the BetMGM platforms.
NASCAR’s betting handle has surged on BetMGM platforms since last year, increasing by 1,300 per cent.
BetMGM’s chief marketing officer, Matt Prevost, said: “We’re excited to work with the NASCAR team to build immersive sports betting experiences that 21st-century racing fans crave. A variety of betting options are being explored including top-finishing drivers, driver matchups, stage winners and bets tied to the number of the winning car (over/under).
